Hilton Manila has announced the appointment of Iulai Sa’u as its new director of operations. In his new role,Sa’u will oversee day-to-day operations of the 356-room property in Resorts World Manila, the largest integrated resort in the country.

Sa’u, will also be responsible for the growth of the hotel’s banquet services as well as its food and beverage outlets – Kusina Sea Kitchens, Hua Yuan–Brasserie Chinoise, Madison Lounge and Bar, and Port Bar. “We are excited to have Iulai join the senior leadership team of Hilton Manila. His vast experience both in the industry and with Hilton as well as his result-oriented approach will make a positive impact to the team,” says Simon McGrath, general manager of Hilton Manila.

The New Zealand-born hotelier brings with him over 25 years of experience as a seasoned operations leader with extensive exposure in multi-cultural and prestigious resort hotels and businesses across the globe. Prior to his move to Hilton Manila, he has played a pivotal role and was an integral part in the continued success of various Hilton properties in China, Australia, and Thailand where he made significant contributions to each of the hotel’s operational efficiency, profitability, and property guest satisfaction.
