Jollibee set to open 100 stores in Canada
The three current locations are still attracting big lineups from hungry diners
In an interview with Canadian television program CityNews, Ernesto Tanmantiong, the CEO of Jollibee, announced that the popular Filipino fast-food chain plans to open 100 stores all over Canada within the next five years.
Jollibee opened its first two Canadian branches in Winnipeg in 2016 and was welcomed with long lines of Filipino patrons and curious customers. It has since opened another store in Scarborough, with a fourth store opening in Mississauga this year.
While there are no details yet on the exact locations where these stores will open, this massive expansion will bring greater exposure to the brand as more Canadians and other foreigners will get to try the taste of Filipino fast food.
