One menu item that’s always guaranteed to sell is pasta. According to 2017 data from the Nielsen Company, the Philippines is on the list of the world’s top 5 major drivers for substantial future growth in the global pasta market; in fact we’re the only Asian country on the list. So why not capitalize on that demand by introducing some pasta shapes (other than spaghetti) to your menu? To give you some ideas, we got La Spezia’s chef and co-owner Aaron Shiu to demonstrate how to make 8 different pasta shapes from 4 different types of dough.
