Makati Diamond Residences previewed its new cheese and charcuterie buffet, which will be available every Friday starting July 27 to Sept. 28 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Alfred restaurant. The buffet will feature various selections of appetizers, cold cuts, cheese, portions of steak and paella, and unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for P1,800 per person.

“We’ve recently introduced a grazing buffet menu as part of our banquet offers, and the cheese and charcuterie is part of the sampling of what we have to offer,” says Makati Diamond Residences PR and marketing manager Stephanie Changco.

Overseeing kitchen operations is executive chef Merlinda Junio who also led the hotel’s culinary team to victory in the Philippine Culinary Cup at SMX Convention Center last year.

Highlights of the buffet include the jamon serrano from Spain, sliced thinly and generously; raclette cheese from Switzerland, partnered with bread, fruits, and nuts; slow-cooked US beef belly; and pinakbet paella with crispy bagnet.

There will be a rotating menu of appetizers, cold cuts, desserts, and beverages to change up the buffet offerings from time to time. A gin and tonic bar will also be present throughout the buffet period.
