An event with vegan food, zero-waste products, and yoga workshops? It’s vegan paradise.
From Mar. 23 to 24 at Plaza Cristo Rey, Poblacion will be holding its first-ever vegan food festival dubbed Yogi Fair, the brainchild of artist and musician Nityalila Saulo.
Celebrating the yoga lifestyle that “promotes polishing one’s mindset, heartset, healthset, and soulset,” the two-day weekend food fair will feature over 30 booths with ‘veganized’ Filipino food and sustainable products alongside live art, yoga classes, and musical performances.
Food establishments to look out for include Delicielo, The Good Seed, The Hidden Leaf, Jack’s Produce, In a Nutshell, Veganola, Boocha Mama, Superfood Grover, The Real Happy Cow, Vegetari, Diwa Brew, Vutcher, Jertie’s Kitchen, Cosmic, Vegan Republic, Flow Retreats, Lokalitea, Little Green Gurl, Katsu House, Squeeze the Day PH, Green Habit PH, Bollywood Reats, Oileen, Planted PH, Style Isle PH, Katas MNL, Zero Basics, and Ziazan Mediterranean Dips.
Beyond just offering an opportunity for vegan and zero-waste lifestyle practitioners to gather and converse, Yogi Fair is a much-needed platform to raise awareness on environmental issues, such as climate change, and how individuals can battle it through lifestyle changes in what they eat and purchase.
