The Manila Food and Beverage Expo (MAFBEX) is on a mission to unleash the foodie in every Filipino as it returns to take everyone on an ultimate “foodventure.” Organized by MAFBEX Events Management, a subsidiary of Worldbex Services International, and presented in partnership with the Young Hoteliers Exposition and the Organization of Bar Professionals, the country’s most anticipated food show promises to unravel the best and latest food and beverage finds in the “glocal” market!

Conceived around the premise of adventure, MAFBEX 2018 seeks to inspire even the pickiest of eaters to set out on an adventurous binge as it houses over 500 booths and 300 exhibitors within a 15,000 sq.m-wide space–all of which are expected to bring together F&B delights from across the country and beyond. This year’s participating countries include Malaysia, Taiwan, Korea, and Vietnam.

The venue will once again be divided into different product zones for food and beverage, franchise equipment, packaging, kitchenware/glassware, organic products, and condiments. Not to be missed are the number of pocket events and activities that will be hosted throughout the five-day expo. The Chefs of the World program offers visitors an opportunity to see chefs in action and even a chance to meet F&B personalities.

Both considered as highlights set to impart insights into the latest trends and innovations are the free seminars featuring the industry’s top practitioners along with the series of stage demos, which will be presented by select F&B companies.

MAFBEX 2018 is also opening the stage for hopefuls aspiring to show their talents in both the kitchen and the bar. Attendees are invited to catch the series of live competitions happening such as the 2nd MAFBEX Culinary Home Chef Edition, Flair Competition, and the YHE Culinary Competitions.

MAFBEX 2018 has proven to be a venue for exhibitors, investors, and trade players to explore B2B opportunities. This year, those who are looking to start their own franchising business are encouraged to visit the Franchising Zone, which feature companies such as Fosse Coffee, Lugaw ni Bossing, Jonas Pares, JC Franchising, and Farinas Empanada among others. Meanwhile, those who are in search of reliable sources of quality homegrown produce ought to visit the Organic Product Pavilion where regional offices will be showcasing their products. Attendees will also get “Eat For A Cause” as part of the proceeds of the show will go to the ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation, Inc.

MAFBEX 2018 officially opens its doors on June 13 to 17 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm at the World Trade Center Metro Manila.
