Gordon Ramsay’s Maze Grill, London House and Bread Street Kitchen & Bar officially ceased operations today, Apr. 1, as the coronavirus pandemic continues. Central was where Bread Street Kitchen & Bar started in 2014 before it relocated to The Peak in 2019. London House first began operating in Tsim Sha Tsui East in 2016 while Maze Wing located in the new Harbour City Ocean Terminal opened in 2018. All three restaurants are in partnership with Hong Kong F&B group Dining Concepts, which also runs concepts such as Bombay Dreams, BLT Burger and Ophelia.

His latest venture—the Plane Food at the Hong Kong International Airport launched last January—continues to be operational despite the unpredictability of foot traffic. Jamie Oliver, another British chef and restaurateur, also closed the Hong Kong and Taipei branches of Jamie’s Italian.

Ramsay also temporarily closed 16 of his restaurants in the UK in accordance with precautionary measures and government policies on the global health crisis, suspending more than 500 jobs.
