Singapore-based grocery and food delivery company Honestbee ceased all delivery operations in the Philippines starting Saturday, April 20.

On April 20, the same day delivery operations stopped, Honestbee released a post on their Facebook page, which states: “As we work with our headquarters towards bringing the total business to a healthy and sustainable level, we unfortunately need to temporarily pause our local operations until further notice.”
Users were quick to inquire about deliveries that were made just before the suspension, and Honestbee assured them that all credit and debit card payments will be refunded.
This news comes after Tech in Asia reported a series of layoffs and resignations in the company.
The personal online shopping start-up currently operates in eight countries: Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
