Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC) was recently given the Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award and was included on the Forbes’ List of the World’s Best Employers—two international awards that recognize the group’s commitment in valuing its employees and workplace.

The Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award is only granted to 38 organizations worldwide whose environment drives high morale from its employees. JFC is the first Philippine-based company to gain the recognition. Companies who receive this award put people at the heart of their business strategy, focusing on their strengths and unleashing their potential.

JFC also made it to Forbes’ List of the World’s Best Employers, one of only three Philippine-based companies that were included in the roster.

“We know that a company is only as strong as the quality of its people, and it is our people who incessantly inspire us to be better,” says Jollibee Group president and CEO Ernesto Tanmantiong.

Around 160,000 employees from 58 countries were asked if they were willing to recommend their employers to their friends and family. They also rated their employers’ COVID-19 responses and ranked them based on image, economic footprint, talent development, gender equality, and social responsibility.

“We know that a company is only as strong as the quality of its people, and it is our people who incessantly inspire us to be better,” says Jollibee Group president and CEO Ernesto Tanmantiong.

Jollibee was also named the Philippines’ most admired company by the Asian Wall Street Journal for 10 years, and was honored by Forbes as one of Asia’s Fab 50 Companies and World’s Best Employers.
