On Sept. 11, the Filipino bean-to-bar chocolate company Auro Chocolate received five awards at the Asia-Pacific leg of International Chocolate Awards, one of the most prestigious fine chocolate making competitions in the world.
The International Chocolate Awards is an independent competition recognizing excellence in fine chocolate making and in products made with fine chocolate. For the second year of its Asia-Pacific competition, over 900 entries from more than 130 companies from all around Asia-Pacific region were received. Auro Chocolate won a total of five awards, two of which (namely Plain/Origin White and Dark Chocolate enrobed fruit pastes, jellies/gelee) hailed the bean-to-bar company as the sole winner in the category.
Auro Chocolate is one of the Philippine chocolate brands that are making waves in the global chocolate scene, having won a total of 19 international awards since its launch in 2017. Earlier this year, it also received gold awards (along with fellow homegrown brand Dalareich Food Products) in the prestigious international London-based Academy of Chocolate Awards 2019.
