Fans of Japan and everything it has to offer no longer need to fly out to experience this dreamy destination.
Filipinos can now enjoy the same products also made available in McDonald’s restaurants across the world with four new and Japanese-inspired products. Dubbed the Flavors of Japan, the new offerings include the new Ebi Burger (with actual shrimp), Teriyaki Samurai Burger, Nori Shake Shake Fries, and Strawberry Sakura McFloat.
The new Ebi Burger has a tempura-coated shrimp patty topped with sweet sauce and lettuce, all sandwiched between a black and white sesame seed bun, while the Teriyaki Samurai Burger has a beef patty dipped in teriyaki glaze, topped with mayo and lettuce. Consumers can pair these burgers with the sweet and salty, seaweed-flavored Nori Shake Shake Fries or the Strawberry Sakura McFloat, a sweet strawberry and cherry drink topped with a vanilla sundae.
The new products are available for dine-in, take-out, DriveThru, and McDelivery. You can also get the Strawberry Sakura McFloat at Dessert Stations and Sundae & McFloat Stations nationwide.
To complete the Japanese experience, select McDonald’s branches nationwide will also get a Japanese-inspired makeover with crews dressed in Japanese-inspired vests, window displays covered in sakura, and tables utilizing origami traymats that can be folded into paper cranes.
