Together with Panaderya Toyo, Toyo Eatery is continuing its operations amid the quarantine with a lockdown menu called Bilao Selection. The bilao options include silog with seafood, silog espesyal (seafood and meat combination), and house-made pansit espesyal (seafood and meat combination). This oversized silog comes in 10-inch or 16-inch bilaos, with either rice or house-made pansit as base.

Toyo Eatery’s lockdown menu is only available for pickup at Panaderya Toyo from 12 nn to 5 p.m. Some of the restaurant’s employees and a number of suppliers still report for work, enabling them to produce food (although at limited quantities). The team is calling for continued support for the F&B industry and is looking forward to expanding their lockdown menu in the coming weeks.

Toyo Eatery is regarded as the best restaurant in the Philippines after consecutive inclusions at Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants (44th this year and 43rd in 2019). For the same reason the awarding ceremony was moved to digital, the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine in response to the pandemic has forced Toyo Eatery to temporarily close from Mar. 17 to Apr. 14 before resuming operations yesterday.
